PEOPLE EXPERIENCING HOMELESSNESS

Our Mission

3000 Acts Of Kindness provides hope, help, and resources to people experiencing homelessness and others in need, delivering dignity, compassion, and genuine human connection.

3000 Acts Of Kindness is a one-day outreach created to surround thousands of individuals experiencing homelessness with warmth, dignity, compassion, and love.

Each December, the Minneapolis Convention Center fills with generosity as volunteers, community partners, and local organizations come together to provide winter coats, boots, sleeping bags, hygiene essentials, warm meals, haircuts, and connections to valuable resources, all at no cost to our guests.

The beauty of 3000 Acts Of Kindness is in every moment of connection. It’s in the conversations, the smiles, the helping hands, and the simple acts of kindness that remind each person they are seen, valued, respected, and loved.

“The fruit of love is service, which is compassion in action.”
— Mother Teresa

Volunteer For 3000 Acts Of Kindness
December 14th, 2026 9am-3pm

There is something incredibly special about being part of this day. As a volunteer, you have the opportunity to step into someone’s story, to share a smile, offer a helping hand, listen, serve, and remind another person that they are deeply valued.

And somewhere along the way, you may find that the day gives something back to you, too.

You’ll serve alongside an incredible community of people, experience the joy that comes from giving, and see firsthand what can happen when thousands of people choose kindness together.

Come with a willing heart. Leave with a full one.

Be one of 3000 Acts Of Kindness and help us coat our community in love.

Sponsor a Guest. Be Part of Their Story.

For $175, you can sponsor one guest for their entire 3000 Acts Of Kindness experience, providing winter essentials, a warm meal, personal care, meaningful resources, and a day surrounded by kindness.

Your gift becomes something tangible. You’ll know that because of your generosity, one person walked through our doors and was welcomed, cared for, and reminded that they matter.

Sponsoring a guest is more than making a donation. It’s an opportunity to make a personal impact, share what you have with someone in need, and experience the joy of knowing you helped make their day possible.

Just $175 provides one guest experiencing homelessness with a full day of care at 3000 Acts Of Kindness. Sponsor one guest, or several, and help ensure every person is welcomed with dignity, compassion, and belonging.

Your gift provides:
• Winter coat
• Boots,
• Sleeping bag
• Hygiene kit
• Haircut
• Warm lunch
• Duffle bag
• A day filled with dignity, care, and belonging
